Why we created DualMinds

Throughout our journey in Venture Capital and Private Equity, we invested in and worked with businesses and startups from very different industries and verticals.

Despite their diversity, we found that many of these businesses faced the same challenges: as they scaled up, the burden of business management became heavier and founders spent too much time on the compliance, administrative and financial management of their business instead of focusing on what they do best - sales, customer service, value creation, production, delivery and other critical operations of their business.

Getting in-house, full-time dedicated resources (CFO, finance director and/or management accountant) to handle these adjacent tasks is often too expensive for these businesses. Our aim is therefore to act as business partners, taking care of financial and compliance aspects (budgeting and forecasting, financial planning, accounting, cash management, management reporting, investor relations, etc.), as well as providing strategic advice and working with founders to enable growth in a sustainable way.

Because businesses are in constant evolution, we also provide ad-hoc services such as financial due diligence (when you want to buy or sell a business) and advice on restructuring activities (when you need to make though decisions).
